3y/o Gelding, Moorestown (Shalaa x Ravishing Choice) dazzled us with a gutsy win after finishing past the post first at the Hawkesbury meeting on 9 July 2023 in the BM64 race over 1500 metres.
Adorning the highly successful silks worn by our champ, Think it Over, Moorestown looks to have some very nice ability and we can only hope that he can follow even slightly in Think it Over’s footsteps to superstardom! What a thrill that would be! But, for now, Moorestown is learning his craft and going through his grades nicely, having secured two wins and two 2nds in just 9 starts!
Moorestown sat behind the leading horse for the journey of the Hawkesbury race (who was setting quite the tempo). He had all the work to do to wear down the leader to take the win from him, which he did. He gave his all and was strong through the line.
Awesome win by this guy and we are excited to see where his career can go. Thanks to jockey, Christian Reith and congrats to his connections. Well done.
