We were thrilled to see 3y/o gelding by National Defense win his maiden race over 1600 metres on 21 October 2023 at his home track of Kembla Grange with jockey Jeff Penza on board.
Ramble On enjoyed a run towards the end of the field throughout the race until at the point of approaching the turn, when Jeff moved Ramble On up to start his chase down of the leading horses.
Jeff steered Ramble On around the turn into the straight and he showed great grit and will to win. It was very pleasing to see.
