Handy 5y/o Mare, Jessandi notched up her third win on 7 September 2023 after she won the Hawkesbury BM64 2000 metre race under the steering of Kerrin McEvoy.
Jessandi has been a nice little racehorse for her owner and we have loved watching her work so well during her runs. It’s pleasing to see her get out there each time and run like she wants to be there. She has a big heart and a nice little will to win.
At the turn into the straight, Kerrin popped her out and asked her to give her all, which she did pleasingly, laying her head down right at the post, beating home Celestial Fury in 2nd and Golden Passport in 3rd.
She showed a great will to win and guts to keep finding and pushing all the way down to the line.
Big congratulations to her owner and we hope to see her in the winner’s stall again soon!
