3y/o Dundeel filly, Hope in Your Heart wins her Maiden race at Moruya on 1 October 2021 after she won the 1200 metre Maiden on soft going, She carried 55kgs and had in form jockey, Winona Costin on board.
After jumping, Hope in Your Heart went to the back of the field. She got quite a fair bit back and was able to switch off and follow the field around the track.
At the turn, Hope in Your Heart commenced a wide run right down the outside of the pack and was set with a big task of running them all down from well back in the field.
Hope in Your Heart showed a fantastic turn of foot and in the last 100 metres or so, was able to catch the leading pair and secure her Maiden win from Cuban Granchico in 2nd and Buskers Rush in 3rd.
