Think it Over has won the Group 2 Apollo Stakes first up this prep at Randwick on 12 February 2022 over 1400 metres.  “Sid” was guided again by his regular jockey, Nash Rawiller.  What a team they are!

Sid came back so well after his outstanding preparation.  He looked a treat in the yard and we all had high hopes for another impressive exhibition.  He certainly did not disappoint!

As usual, Sid jumped well from the gates.  He was given some encouragement to keep rolling forward so as to be able to put himself in a nice forward running position, which he was able to do, settling in a one out, one back position.

Sid travelled like a true professional and relaxed for Nash during the run.

The leading pair out in front got quite a distance away from him and the rest of the pack that followed.  He was to do all the work to lead them up to the front two at the turn into the straight, who were about 4 lengths or so in front and, like the true war horse he has become, Sid ambled up with easy to them and showed his thrilling will to win and went straight past them.

Sid just kept finding and no one looked a threat at all.  He extended his lead and put the field away comfortably, securing the win by about 3 lengths to Colette in 2nd position and Special Reward in 3rd.

This horse just keeps amazing us and has stamped his place in the elite.

We are so excited for this preparation with Think it Over.

I could not do this without the devoted passion and work ethic of my stable staff.  They are the cogs in the machine and the work they do to get this horse at his best is a true testament to how hard they work. Thank you, thank you.

Also, Richard (Think it Over’s owner), our biggest congratulations to you once again.  You have one special animal on your hands.  We cannot wait for the next win and to celebrate again with you.

And last but not least, thank you Nash, once again, another brilliant ride.
