A nice win for Tom Cruising (American Pharaoh x Vinicunca) came on 12 September 2026 at the Kembla Grange meeting, after he was able to take home the win in the 1600 metre BM64 race with jockey, Chad Lever taking the reins.
Another consistent performer of the K J Parker Stables, Tom Cruising, put in an enormous performance in this race. He looked all but gone into the final stages of the home straight, but Chad saw a passage appear, and he asked Tom to take the run, which he did! It was really so pleasing to see how much he knuckled down to take out the win. He didn’t get it cheaply, that’s for sure.
Big congrats to his owner, Christine for another great win with Tom Cruising.
This win now takes his record to 34 starts, with 5 wins and 6 minor placings and prize-money in excess of $168,000.00, including bonuses.
My staff had him looking a feeling well for this task, and it showed, so a big pat on the back to you all for your continued hard work day in and day out.
