2y/o filly, ‘All the Way Mae’ (Yes Yes Yes x Ottamae), has showcased an outstanding debut performance and win at Newcastle Racecourse on 26 May 2025 in the 900 metre Maiden dash on a heavy 10 track, ridden by Chad Lever.
After jumping, this filly was able to settle about mid-field and looked to be comfortable enough during the run for the first half to approaching to turn. She looked very strong and had a lovely action in running.
During the run down the straight, she was only a length or two behind the first few leading horses. She looked quite green down the straight, scooting about, not wanting to keep her head straight, which is expected when the babies hit the track in race conditions for the first time in their lives.
But, ultimately, once she settled slightly, you could see the burst of speed and she was able to excel away from her rivals in an impressive fashion, winning by nearly three lengths to Tyrone’s Power in 2nd and Song For Rosie in 3rd. She has now gone to the paddock for a well earned rest.
We are excited by this filly and wish to extend our congratulations to her winning connections.
Thanks to Chad for a brilliant ride.
