Handy little 5/yo, lightly raced mare, Lets Go Again (Turffontein x Numbers) won the 920 metre race at Moruya on 17 September 2024 at only her third career start. Jockey Lee Magorrian took the ride and they jumped from barrier 8.
The mare certainly had a tough run after the gates opened. She raced wide the whole trip without any cover, but looked to be tracking into the race nicely after entering the turn into the straight.
Lets Go Again had all the work to do and managed to track up to the leader and pull away from it, but then she also had to defend off the two outside swoopers breathing down her neck right down to the line. We were very pleased to see such a nice will to win and to have her stick her neck out right on the line to make sure victory was hers was a great thing to see.
Let’s Go Again is building a nice record to her name. Three starts for a win and a second placing. We hope to see her keep building and take home another victory soon for her very patient and great owners! Congratulations!
