Cosmos Factory showed great heart winning the 2200 metre staying race on the first day of the Sapphire Coast Carnival. He combined with jockey, Nick Heywood for the race.
After doing a little work during the early stages of the race, he was able to tuck into a nice position for the remainder of the race and seemed to travel nice for Nick about mid field.
We are stoked he was able to finally get the maiden monkey off his back in this race and take home a well deserved win. We hope he can continue on with his winning vein of form and we would like to congratulate his great bunch of owners for the win on this great day that is the first day of the Sapphire Coast Carnival! They always put on a great show and we love heading down there to compete.
