Introducing Lot 402 from the Inglis Easter Sales 2025 – purchased by Proven Thoroughbreds, a striking Colt by Zoustar out of Hidemi (Choisir), Prepared by Sledmere Stud.
By none other than the mighty Zoustar! Winner of the Sires’ Produce Stakes (2013), Golden Rose Stakes (2013), Roman Consul Stakes (2013) and the Coolmore Stud Stakes (2013) and now sire of Group 1 winners which include Zougotcha, Climbing Star, Sunlight, Ozzmosis, Joliestar, Mizzy, Lezoo and Zoutori.
This Colt is the first from from Hidemi (by Choisir). She is a half sister to Kiku (2017) – winner of the 2022 Group 2 Theo Marks Stakes and the 2021 Group 3 Carbine Club Stakes, as well as a half sister to Zoutori (2015) – winner of the 2021 Group 1 VRC Newmarket Handicap and Group 2s – Bobbie Lewis Quality (2019 and 2020) and 2020 Gilgai Stakes!
Both Kiku and Zoutori are by Zoustar so you can see why this colts Dam, Hidemi was sent to Zoustar!
We are so excited on this colts’ prospects at the race track. He has the breeding and the looks and, given some time to grow and fill right out, we have no doubt he will be a great success on the racetrack!

Introducing Lot 367 – being the lovely brown filly by Trapeze Artist out of Lanu Moana, purchased by Proven Thoroughbreds at the 2025 Inglis Classic Sale from the Mullaglass Stud draft.
By 4 time Group 1 winning Stallion, Trapeze Artist (Golden Rose Stakes, T J Smith Stakes, the All Aged Stakes and the Canterbury Stakes).
What a cracking filly she is! She commands attention with her athletic frame and and she also has a similarly striking page as well! Strong New Zealand dam lineage, producing the likes of Steps in Time, Torgersen, and Espiona.
We cannot wait to get this filly into the barn and start guiding her along her racing journey.

Armory was a multiple Group winner at 2 and reached an impressive time form rating of 122. Notching up a super record in his career of 16 starts for 5 wins, 3 seconds and 4 thirds!
