Mrs Flanders, a 4y/o mare by Anders, out of Fly Buy Fly, is putting together a very handy record indeed for her short career already. From just her 10 starts, she has 2 wins from 3 minor placings.
Her first win came on 16 August 2026 at Moruya in the 1010 metre Maiden race with jockey, Brock Ryan on board. She pinged straight to the front as soon as the gates opened. She was full of running and the others just could not find a way to get close to her. She won by 6 lengths and never looked in danger.
Her latest win came on her very next start on 28 August 2026 and, again, at Moruya, this time in the Class 1, 1020 metre race and, again, with her jockey Brock on for the ride. Much like last time, she instantly found her way to the front and was left alone to run her own race. This time the winning margin was about 5 lengths. Another impressive win!
We are very excited by this speedy mare, who just has that emphatic will to win. She has a wonderful bunch of owners who are so excited to be along for the ride with her, so big congrats to them. Let’s hope her next win is just around the corner for you all.
