How good was it to see Winning Rulet (Winning Rupert x Heartlet) take home the chocolates on 18 April 2026 after winning, at her home track of Kembla Grange, the 1300 metre Maiden race, with jockey Chad Lever taking the reins.
Winning Rulet impressed us so much in this race. She tried her little heart out all the way to the finish line. She showed a great will to win and it was nice to finally see her be rewarded with her Maiden win.
Winning Rulet’s Dam is Heartlet, who was a handy racehorse herself. Kerry trained Heartlet back in 2018 and 2019 and it is always so special to be able to see and then train the babies of the special horses that come through our barn. It’s a full circle moment!
Winning Rulet has a great bunch of owners, many who have been owners with Kerry for years. We would like to congratulate them on this win.
