4y/o Gelding, Bob’s Back (Hallowed Crown x Entourage) has been able to get that Maiden Win Monkey off his back after putting in an outstanding performance at Goulburn on 12 September 2025 in the Maiden race over 1400 metres on a Heavy 9 surface. Jockey, Chad Lever had the ride.
Bob’s Back jumped cleanly from the gates and was able to assert himself as the leading horse in the pack. He looked to travel nicely throughout the race and, at the point of the turn, was able to skip away from the rest of the field and just kept going!
Bob’s Back just kept finding the winning lengths down the Goulburn straight and took home the win in impressive fashion by just over 5 lengths back to Charlecote Mill in second place and Melodia Legend in third.
We hope now following on from this dominant win, he has gained what he needs to go on with it again, hopefully in the not too distant future. A huge congrats goes out to his great bunch of owners.
