Well timed has had a great prep so far. Starting with a trial win at Kembla Grange, then onto Nowra where he ticked off his maiden win and now backing it up with his second race win after he won the 1100 metre Midway Race at Hawkesbury on Saturday 9 March 2024. Brock Ryan took the steer for the race.
After Drawing a wide gate, Well Timed and Brock managed to cross over and head to towards the front of the runners, albeit three wide, where he remained for the rest of the journey. However, after turning into the straight the 3y/o gelding by Nicconi showed great strength and hung on to keep the others at bay.
It was a super win and we are very happy with how this fella is progressing. Now having notched up two wins and a second placing from only 6 starts. He looks to be progressing nicely.
