Tampering Wins First Up at Kembla Grange to Notch Up His 4th Win

Aug 07, 2021

Tampering has won at Kembla Grange on 5th August 2021 in the 1400 metre BM 68 race.  Jockey Jason Collett took the steer.  They jumped from Barrier 7 and Tampering was assigned to carry 56kgs for the run.

Tampering jumped well from the barrier and, at about the 1000 metre mark, Jason was able to guide him from a wide position into a slot towards the front, about 4th, one off the rails.

Tampering held his position in the run and looked to be travelling well for Jason.

At the turn, there was a wall of horse vying for the lead.

However, Tampering was able to keep finding his gears down the straight and, under great riding from Jason, secured his 4th win, beating home Always Sure in 2nd and Crazy Train in 3rd.

Thank you Jason for a great ride.

We would like to extend our utmost congratulations to Deidre and Alex.  We are so happy to have Tampering in the stable and doing well and we are thrilled he is able to bring you both another win to enhance his awesome record thus far.  We hope Tampering can keep performing well throughout this upcoming preparation.

Lastly, but not leastly, thank you to my loyal staff.  Your hard work and dedication brings about these great outcomes.

Thank you to Bradley Photographers for the photo.
