Misty Mountain Hop Breaks His Maiden at Kembla Grange

Jun 07, 2017

Misty Mountain Hop broke his maiden last Saturday, 3rd June 2017 at Kembla Grange after winning race 2 which was a 2400 metre Class 1 on a good 3 rated track.  Busta jumped from barrier 8, carrying 55kgs, under the guidance of jockey, Adrian Layt.

Busta took a nice sit at the back of the field, which was run at a genuine tempo up front.  He looked very relaxed during his run.

At the 1000 metres, Adrian made his move on Busta, tracking up wide on the field coming up to the turn.

From the top of the straight Busta ran gusty race all the way down to the line, sticking his head in front and holding off Crimson Halo.

We are delighted with Busta's win.  Big congratulations, Richard.
